Residents of a quiet street in east London fear being “bombarded with wizards” after their homes were secretly turned into a set for a new Harry Potter series.
A fierce row has broken out on a quiet London street after TV crews turned it into the set of the new Harry Potter series "without asking residents". Springfield Gardens in Upminster has been used to film the set of Privet Drive, where a young Harry Potter grows up.
But residents have now hit back – saying they weren’t aware their homes would be used for such a major project. Katie Perry, 42, says letters were posted through doors notifying that filming would be taking place on Sunday, June 8.
